Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

The cathedral sometimes hosts quite large events. In 2005, Pope Benedict XVI visited the Cologne Cathedral for World Youth Day festivities along with around a million other people. For the event, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Choir performed Beethoven's Missa Solemnis.
